Shir Ami is a Congregation of some 100 families who together are creating a more meaningful and intimate Jewish experience. Are you searching for that as well? We warmly welcome newcomers. We practice modern Conservative Judaism. We respect tradition and study Torah, seeking to make them relevant to our lives by questioning, exploring, learning and growing. We also like to laugh and sing. We genuinely care about one another. We accept people where ever they may be on their Jewish path.

Our Rabbi, Mel Libman, is an inspiring spiritual leader and an extraordinary scholar and teacher. As important, Rabbi Libman is warm, thoughtful, compassionate and completely approachable.

We embrace diversity. Our Congregation consists of young couples, familes with young children and teens, same sex couples, and retirees. Jews by birth and Jews by choice. American Jews, Russian Jews, Israelis, Lebanese, South Africans, Interfaith couples seeking a Jewish education and experience for themselves and their children. All feel at home here.

Our Hebrew School offers small, exciting classes, and hands-on instruction to children ages 5 - 13, as well as B'nai Mitzvah training.
