"Preparing for Passover: How the Haggadah Can Speak to Us"

The Rabbis and Cantors of our Bucks County congregations invite you to join us for a special night of Jewish learning.  This opportunity provides us to gather as one larger Jewish community to learn with and from one another.

 

Keynote Speaker:  Dr. Ora Horn Prouser, CEO and Academic Dean at the Academy for Jewish Religion

Keynote title:  "The Hillel Sandwich: Processing the Bitter and the Sweet at Our Passover Seders."

 

Bio:  Dr. Prouser has worked with educational institutions to develop Bible curricula and pedagogy.  Her book, Esau’s Blessing: How the Bible Embraces Those with Special Needs was recognized as a National Jewish Book Council finalist. Her most recent books that she co-edited,  Seder Interrupted: A Post October 7 Haggadah Supplement, and These Holy Days: A High Holy Days Supplement After October 7 and An Upside-Down World:Esther and Antisemitism give us the opportunity to struggle with Jewish holidays in the post-October 7 world.

 

In addition to Dr. Prouser's keynote, you will have the opportunity to learn with one of the rabbis or cantors who are part of the Bucks County Clergy Council.
