At Shir Ami, Music is Right in Our Name!
Who puts the “Shir” in Shir Ami? We do! Our congregation offers a variety of ways to experience and participate in music.
We have a dedicated adult choir that sings at various services and holidays and rehearses regularly throughout the year. Additionally, we recently launched Shir Lala, a youth choir for children in grades 1-6, which performs in many of our Intergenerational Shabbat Services.
Our Shabbat Band and Rock Band feature talented instrumentalists who perform on several Shabbats throughout the year, adding energy and joy to our services.
We are also fortunate to host a different musical scholar each year for our Anna Gever Music Shabbat, a true highlight of the year.
Whether you're a singer, instrumentalist, or simply someone who loves Jewish music, Shir Ami offers many opportunities to experience and share meaningful, uplifting music regularly.
