The Brooklyn Museum is filled with a brilliant array of stunning works of art that span classical to contemporary times. Join our image-filled exploration of this magnificent collection as we view and discuss a diverse range of objects that feature artists both well-known and some not-so-much. This conversational-style class features short, related videos that bring fresh perspectives to the featured artists, paintings, and sculptures that represent a number of pivotal art movements. From methods and materials to evoking the emotional response, the Brooklyn Museum showcases it all!
About the Presenter:
Lynn Berkowitz, MFA, BFA, with a career in art museums and online learning, has developed an array of award-winning gallery tours, experiences, and apps aimed at helping audiences of all ages and abilities engage with a diversity of art ‘isms and approaches. She currently presents online and onsite art appreciation programs for Vero Beach Museum of Art, Upper Dublin Library, Mt. Airy Learning Tree, Main Line School Night among others.
