About the Author:
Shakk (Shakked) Beery is a speaker, author, comedian, and certified Israeli tour guide. As the CMO and Head of the Israel Tourism Department at Shin Luxury Tours, she spends her days crafting life-changing Israel adventures for families and communities, sharing the beauty and complexity of Israel with the world. A tenth-generation Israeli Jew, Shakk's family has lived in Israel long before modern Zionism, and played a crucial part in the early revival of Jewish life in the Holy Land. Through her talks, Shakk brings the Jewish story to life - from ancient history to modern-day challenges, from laughter to heartbreak. Her lectures are as deep as they are hilarious, rooted in firsthand experience.
