From the Bungalows to Bucks County, We’re Rockin' the Launch of Shir Ami’s

Join us as we launch the brand-new Shir Ami Center for Adult Life with a high-energy, feel-good morning of live music from the 1950s and 1960s! Come get nostalgic and reminisce as Richie and the High Street Rockers, a fantastic rock and roll band, brings the sounds of the classic Catskills bungalow era 50s and 60s right here to Shir Ami!
All are welcome—so grab your friends and celebrate with us!
This event is free for affiliated members of Bucks County synagogues. Unaffiliated guests are welcome for a nominal fee.

Richie and the High Street Rockers
Richie and the High Street Rockers are a vintage Rock and Roll band based out of Pottstown, PA. Playing both originals and covers from the 1950s and early 1960s, they are passionately reinventing the sound of rock's roots for the 21st century. Buckle up for hot renditions of classics by Little Richard, Elvis, and Eddie Cochran, then lean back for soft ballads by Dion, Buddy Holly, and the Everly Brothers. With their signature, snappy outfits and overflowing energy, you're guaranteed to be twisting the night away! The High Street Rockers have one goal: to spread joy through music and dancing. This band believes Rock n’ Roll was formed from the irresistible urge to move; from feeling music so deeply that you can’t keep your body still. Their mission is to reconnect with this timeless human spirit and get people out of their phones and on to the dance floor. In an era where community is scarce, High Street is reviving Rock n’ Roll’s in-your-face community building.
